Website Abstract

This website works to convey the idea of different traditions and rituals related to the regenerative agriculture and first foods maintenance of the Klamath Tribes, located in the basin occupying the Oregon-California border, in a folklore frame. These tribes value maintaining a sustainable relationship with the land and participate in specific first foods ceremonies every year to commemorate their creator for providing them life and sustenance. This website also places an emphasis on exploring environmental justice elements to native first foods protection as a method to increase the dissemination of this folklore so it can be used as a platform for first foods awareness and advocacy.
